Hands-on certification
A full day at the studio on Polson Street, capped at fifteen stylists. Beaded sew-in wefts with hidden rows, K-tips, and V-Light with loose hair for crowns, part lines and thinning areas. Bring your own tools or rent a full setup on the day. You leave certified in all three, with a tool checklist and the storefront I actually buy from.

Every major extension brand runs its own academy, and every one of them teaches the method that suits the hair it sells. That is not a conspiracy — it is just what happens when the educator and the manufacturer are the same company.
The problem shows up chair-side. You get taught one method thoroughly and the others as afterthoughts, so you fit every client into the method you know. The client with fine, fragile hair gets the same weight as the client with a dense head of coarse hair, because weight was never the lesson.
Learning all four methods properly means you choose by density, lifestyle and maintenance — not by what you were certified in. That is the whole argument for training that has nothing to sell you.
Who's teaching
Miranda Furtado is a licensed Ontario stylist, a global educator, and Canada's first national ambassador for Great Lengths. She left a corporate marketing career to do hair, taught herself extensions, then went and got certified properly — seventeen times over.
She has run Love's In The Hair on Polson Street for twelve years, specialising in fine and thinning hair, and she is still behind the chair with her own clients every week. She trains stylists internationally and teaches the safety side of this work as seriously as the technique.

Questions
Is this suitable for a beginner?
The online courses assume you are a working stylist, or training to be one. They do not teach you to do hair — they teach you extensions, the science underneath them, and how to price and run the service. If you are a licensed stylist who has never touched extensions, you are exactly who these were built for.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Certificates are issued on completion of each online course, and the in-person day certifies you in all three methods taught that day.
Do I need to buy a kit or a particular brand of hair?
No. Nothing here is tied to a hair brand, and there is no kit to buy. For the in-person day you can bring your own tools or rent a full setup for the class.
What is the difference between the online course and the in-person day?
The online masterclass covers four methods in depth, plus the theory, colour matching, aftercare and business material, and you keep it. The in-person day is hands-on practice with three methods under supervision. Most stylists do the online course first and come to the studio to put hands on it.
How long do I have access to an online course?
Lifetime access. When a course is updated, you get the updated material at no extra cost.
